Saturday night dinner
Tonight's romantic dinner for two. Began this morning by making the vanilla panna cotta. It was really easy. It made six servings. Yum. Enough for dessert this week.

Movie Week
This week we went on a movie-watching tear.
Inside Out. Thoroughly enjoyed, especially the part where they get rid of long-term memories like old phone numbers and addresses. So true.
Spotlight was devastating.
Joy was good, but not as good as I wanted it to be. Still love anything with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper together.
Brooklyn. We liked it. I think she would have stayed in Ireland if she hadn't married Tony in the quickie ceremony.
Pineapple Express. I thought the whole time that Owen Wilson was in it and was waiting for him to pop up. Seth Rogan and James Franco crack me up. I would totally invite them to my BBQ.

This weekend's project
My plan is to take the old built-in bookcases in the den from hohum to wow by painting them black. Black paint is not that easy to deal with though. This has become a tedious process, but the end result will be well worth it.
